THE GOVERNMENT

The Executive:

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is the Head of the Executive arm of government. His duties are laid out in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He elected along with his Vice President through a general election for a 4 year mandate and he can be reelected only once.

The President and his ministers are not members of the National Assembly but are accountable to the legislative body.
